About this course
Cardiac First Response advanced Instructor Training Course is designed to enable participants to deliver Cardiac First Response- Community or Advanced training.
A pre requisite for entry onto a CFR-Instructor course is that an individual has certified at provider level within the last 12 months. The level of certification will determine the level at which they may apply for instructor training.

This course takes two days to complete with 3 monitoring sessions required upon completion.

Certification
Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a PHECC CFR-Instructor certificate which is valid for 2 years.

Post Course Information
A CFR-Instructor has two options to deliver PHECC approved training and certification post completion of CFR Instructors Course:
- Join an existing recognised institution as a member of their faculty
- Apply to PHECC for recognition of institution and seek course approval for CFR.

Our Cardiac First Responder Instructor Trainers
Dan is a qualified advanced paramedic with a diploma in Emergency medical technology from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a graduate diploma in emergency medical science and MSc in emergency medical science from UCD. Along with Dan’s many years of clinical practice he also holds a Cardiac First Responder Advanced Instructor certificate, a diploma in continuing education and training from NUIM and is a PHECC Tutor.
Terry is a qualified advanced paramedic with a diploma in Emergency medical technology from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a graduate diploma in emergency medical science and an MSc in Emergency medical science both from UCD. Along with Terry’s many years of clinical practice he also holds a Cardiac First Responder Advanced Instructor certificate and a Beecher Instructional methods certificate. Terry is also a PHECC tutor.
Troy has been a faculty member with DX2 Training Solutions since 2011, he currently holds a BBS in emergency services and a Dip in emergency medical technology from Northeastern university in the USA giving him Paramedic status here in Ireland. Troy is a multi disciplined tutor delivering multiple courses across our suite, his instructor qualifications are visible on his Linkedin profile. Troy is also a PHECC Tutor
