• About this Service

    Are you currently studying towards an EMS qualification like EMT, Paramedic or Advanced Paramedic? Like most students there are elements of these programmes you might find difficult to understand or conceptualise, don’t worry we are here to help. DX2 has experienced advanced paramedic tutors and examiners on hand to help you with any area of your programme. You can book a 1:1 grind with a faculty member of your choice, at a time thats convenient to you. Furthermore because these grinds are done over zoom no travelling is required and you can have all your notes or resources in front of you. You pick the topic, let our tutor know where you’re struggling and they can assist you by answering your questions or conceptualising topics to better assist you understand the material.

Dan is Managing Director here at DX2. While his main responsibility is the oversight of our organisation he is also dedicated to providing students with an exceptional educational experience. Dan currently holds an MSc in Emergency Medical Science GDip in Emergency medical science BSc in Analytical Science Dip in Continuing Education and Training Dip in Emergency Medical Technology, giving him Advanced Paramedic status on the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Register. Dan is also a member of the College of Paramedics UK and serves as their liaison officer here in Ireland in addition to registration with HCPC as a Paramedic. Dan is also affiliate faculty for NAEMT here in Ireland coordinating the delivery of NAEMT programmes such as PHTLS, EPC, GEMS, EMS Safety and All Hazards disaster response, Dan also site of NAEMT’s European education committee. Dan coordinates the HCPC paramedic programme from ORMS delivered onsite at DX2 offering students the ability to obtain HCPC parmaeidc status on a part time basis, in addition Dan is a PHECC tutor and examiner.

Terry is Director of Pre-Hospital Education here at DX2. Terry currently holds an MSc in Emergency Medical Science GDip in Emergency medical science, PgDip in medical education, BSc in Paramedic Studies, Dip in Emergency Medical Technology, giving him Advanced Paramedic status on the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Register and holds registration with HCPC (UK) as a Paramedic. Terry is also affiliate faculty for NAEMT here in Ireland coordinating the delivery of NAEMT programmes such as PHTLS, EPC, GEMS, EMS Safety and All Hazards disaster response. Terry is also involved in delivery and supervision of advanced paramedic training with UCD and an emergency medical educator at UL. Terry is also a PHECC Facilitator and Examiner.

Gerry is a senior faculty member at DX2. He currently holds a graduate diploma in emergency medical science giving him Advanced Paramedic status on the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Register. Gerry is also faculty for NAEMT Programmes here in Ireland coordinating the delivery of NAEMT programmes such as PHTLS, EPC, GEMS, EMS Safety and All Hazards disaster response, Gerry is an educational award holder at tutor level and a PHECC examiner in addition he is a faculty member with the Irish heart foundation.
