Are you currently studying towards an EMS qualification like EMT, Paramedic or Advanced Paramedic? Like most students there are elements of these programmes you might find difficult to understand or conceptualise, don’t worry we are here to help. DX2 has experienced advanced paramedic tutors and examiners on hand to help you with any area of your programme. You can book a 1:1 grind with a faculty member of your choice, at a time thats convenient to you. Furthermore because these grinds are done online so no travelling is required and you can have all your notes or resources in front of you. You pick the topic, let our tutor know where you’re struggling and they can assist you by answering your questions or conceptualising topics to better assist you understand the material.

Dan is CEO here at DX2. While his main responsibility is the oversight of our organisation he is also dedicated to providing students with an exceptional educational experience. Dan currently holds an MSc in Emergency Medical Science GDip in Emergency medical science BSc in Analytical Science Dip in Continuing Education and Training Dip in Emergency Medical Technology, giving him Advanced Paramedic status on the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Register. Dan is also a member of the College of Paramedics UK and serves as their liaison officer here in Ireland in addition to registration with HCPC as a Paramedic. Dan is also affiliate faculty for NAEMT here in Ireland coordinating the delivery of NAEMT programmes such as PHTLS, EPC, GEMS, EMS Safety and All Hazards disaster response. Dan is a PHECC facilitator, examiner ROQ and EA assessor, he also sits on PHECC’s Education and Training Committee.
Shaun was appointed to faculty with DX2 Training solutions in 2021 and became programme manager for UK programmes in 2022. He currently holds a Bsc (Hons) and a DipHE from Birmingham City University giving him Advanced Paramedic status in Ireland and HCPC Paramedic status in the UK. Shaun has worked in EMS in several areas such as emergency departments, minor injury units, forensics, education, UK and Irish ambulance services. He holds education and training awards from the UK in addition to an educational award at Tutor level from PHECC, he is also a PHECC Examiner. Shaun is an active volunteer member of Waterford County Civil Defence, as a team leader medic and educator.
Dermot is currently the programme manager for DX2’s NQEMT programmes. Dermot currently holds a GDip in Emergency medical science Dip in Continuing Education and Training Dip in Emergency Medical Technology, giving him Advanced Paramedic status on the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Register. Dermot is also faculty for NAEMT Programmes here in Ireland coordinating the delivery of NAEMT programmes such as PHTLS, EPC, GEMS, EMS Safety and All Hazards disaster response. Dermot is a PHECC Educational award tutor level and a PHECC examiner.
Pete is a senior faculty member at DX2. Pete currently holds an MSc in Emergency medical science BSc in paramedic studies, Dip in Continuing Education and Training, giving him Advanced Paramedic status on the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Register and HCPC Paramedic registration in the UK. Pete is also faculty for NAEMT Programmes here in Ireland coordinating the delivery of NAEMT programmes such as PHTLS, EPC, GEMS, EMS Safety and All Hazards disaster response. Pete is a PHECC Educational award holder at tutor level.
