About this course
Eva Sheet Training can be conducted together with Manual Handling training or as a stand alone session. This training programme is suitable for leaners who work at or attend a facility with an Evac Sheet in situ.
This course provides participants with the necessary skill and knowledge to handle safely in the workplace while using the Evac Sheet. This course will inform participants of the safe fitting, indications, use and storage of the Evac Sheet.

Course Duration
The course duration is approximately 1.5 hours without Manual handling training or 3.5 hours as a combined manual handling Evac Sheet course.

- Introduction and statistics
- The Evac Sheet indications & uses
- Safe fitting of the Evac sheet
- Safe use of the Evac sheet including practical demonstrations & Practice
- Assessing the risk
- Safe Storage of the Evac sheet

Certification
Upon successful completion of this course learners will receive a certificate issued by DX2 Training Solutions which is valid for 2 years

Assessment
Learners will be continually assessed throughout the duration of the course and are required perform a practical lifting assessment, demonstrating correct technique, upon completion of course.

Our Evac Sheet Instructors


Dan is a qualified paramedic with a diploma in Emergency medical technology from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a graduate diploma in emergency medical science from UCD. Along with Dan’s many years of clinical practice he also holds a Cardiac First Responder Advanced Instructor certificate and a diploma in continuing education and training from NUIM.

Troy is a qualified paramedic with a diploma in Emergency medical technology from Northeastern University USA. Along with Troy’s many years of clinical practice he also holds a Cardiac First Responder Advanced Instructor certificate.

Dermot is a qualified advanced paramedic with a diploma in Emergency medical technology from Northeastern University and an higher diploma in Emergency medical technology from UCD. Along with Dermot’s many years of clinical practice he also holds a Cardiac First Responder Advanced Instructor certificate and a diploma in continuing education and training from NUIM.

Dave is a qualified paramedic with a diploma in Emergency medical technology from Northeastern University USA. Along with Dave’s many years of clinical practice he also holds a Cardiac First Responder Advanced Instructor certificate.
